Yep, August 6 is in just 2 days!!! I have started to read the First Aid for the USMLE Step 2 CS and will have that finished by tomorrow. I must say that I hope that it is just like the CPX. This time I have to interview 12 patients instead of 8, but otherwise it should be pretty similar. I passed the CPX and also learned that I need to take a quicker history. As long as I don’t chit chat too much in the beginning, then I think that I will be okay on Wednesday.
As for Step 2 CK… yeah, that’s on August 29. This is so different from Step 1. I spent the weekend finishing another draft revision of my IRB and working on SNMA business that was neglected during my last week of my sub-I. Now I have to get back into serious studying mode and make sure that I kick butt on CK! Oh yeah, I think I forgot to post about it, but the NBME practice Step 2 went great! I did better than I did on the practice one for Step 1, and I was actually happy about that Step 1 practice test score. Anyhow, I just need to spend this next few weeks getting used to the style of questions and refreshing info from Peds (my first rotation of 3rd year) and I should be ready!!

Good luck tomorrow!
Thanks!
