On an “Honor Roll” June 14, 2008

What can I say… I got another Letter of Distinction!!! Get it? I’m on an “honor roll,” like I’m on a roll… but there’s honor roll like in high school. Okay, corny, whatever.

Anyhow, I came home tonight and checked my evaluation for Psych (which I previously posted I did well on the shelf for) and I got the LOD*! I’m soooo excited. This really made my day today. Check out the letter that they send to the dean… well okay, this is only the first part, I don’t want to copy the whole evauation they included:

LETTER OF DISTINCTION

PSYCHIATRY CLERKSHIP

Academic Year 2007-08

June 13, 2008

Dear Dr. XXXXXX,

I am delighted to write this Letter of Distinction from the Psychiatry Clerkship for XXXX XXXXXX, Class of 2009. XXXX XXXXXX has clearly met our requirement that a student demonstrate both outstanding clinical skills and knowledge in psychiatry.

*LOD is given when the student does outstanding on the clinical rotation AND on the shelf exam.
